Some Aston Villa fans are fully behind the prospect of Keinan Davis leaving the club this month.
The 22-year-old striker is very much a bit-part player under Dean Smith this season, only managing 49 minutes of Premier League football.
At his age, it’s important that the Aston Villa academy product is playing regular football.
And it looks like he might have an invitation to do that in the Championship.
According to The Bristol Post, Bristol City are interested in signing the hitman on loan before Monday’s deadline.
And there’s quite a few Aston Villa fans who would love to see him leave, for the sake of his own development.
Here’s how they’re reacting to the speculation on Twitter:
This one definitely makes sense, but only if Aston Villa can get a replacement in.
Davis might not be a huge player for Smith, but the Villans are one injury to Ollie Watkins away from having no strikers, due to the fact that Wesley Moraes remains injured.
If Aston Villa do let him leave, it might just be a sign that Smith has a trick up his sleeve.
