Leroy Sane has not enjoyed the best of starts with Bayern Munich this season as the ex-City star was substituted at half-time over the weekend.
The 26-year-old attacker, who left the Manchester giants last summer, was booed in the opening half of Bayern’s home opener before coming off in the break after a poor display.
The attacker has somewhat struggled since his move to Bavaria last summer. Sane hit ten goals in all competitions for Bayern last campaign. But consistent starts were hard to come by under Hansi Flick.
Indeed, just two games into the new season under Julian Naglesmann and Sane is off to a rough start with Bayern. Moreover, the former City star lost possession 11 times against FC Koln on Sunday.
It was a night to forget to Sane, who was seen as the new star to lead Bayern into a new era of dominance in Europe. However, it has not gone exactly to plan since returning to the Bundesliga.
And on social media, some City fans are eager for the club to bring Sane back from Bayern after a shocking home debut in front of fans in the Bundesliga this season.

Sane won two Premier League titles in Manchester and was one of Pep Guardiola’s key players in his early years with City.
