Some Everton fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that Leeds United want Fabian Delph.
According to The Daily Star, Leeds – who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship – are interested in signing Delph from Everton in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that the Whites are confident of striking a £5 million deal with the Toffees over the transfer of the former Manchester City central midfielder.
Delph, who can also operate as a left-back, joined Everton from Premier League rivals City in the summer of 2019 for an initial transfer fee of £8.5 million, as reported by The Guardian.
The former Aston Villa star has had injury problems this past season, and was able to make 13 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League and played once in the FA Cup, according to WhoScored.
Some Everton fans are not bothered if Delph leaves the club this summer and actually want his former team Leeds to sign him.
