Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to The Daily Mail’s latest claim about Stan Kroenke.
The Daily Mail reported late last night (10:30pm, May 1, 2020) that Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke is open to selling the club despite saying otherwise in recent days.
The report has claimed that Arsenal have been effectively on the market for about two years.
Kroenke’s Denver-based holding company Kroenke Sports and Entertainment (KSE) received an approach from an international financial consortium less than two years ago about Arsenal, according to the report, which has added that KSE were looking for £1.7 billion and nothing materialised in the end.
The Kroenke family recently said that they “remain 100 per cent committed to Arsenal”, but The Daily Mail has claimed that the Gunners are still up for sale.
The report has added that Spotify owner Daniel Ek wants to buy Arsenal, the club he supports.
Some Arsenal fans are in favour of Ek buying the club, as covered by HITC Sport on a number of occasions.

This latest report in The Daily Mail has excited some Arsenal fans, as shown by their posts on Twitter below.
Arsenal are a massive club and are a global brand, but the Gunners have struggled to challenge for the Premier League title and play in the Champions League in recent years.
Mikel Arteta’s side are not going to finish in the Premier League top four this season, but the North London club could win the Europa League, and that will allow them to return to the Champions League.
