Former Tottenham Hotspur player Josh Onomah says that he still loves the club and now cannot wait to face Arsenal on opening day with Fulham.
Speaking to Fulham’s official website, the Tottenham academy graduate was previewing their opening day clash with the Gunners.
And getting the three points will mean more to Onomah than most at Fulham, as he still holds Tottenham very dearly in his heart.
“Arsenal is definitely a good one to look forward to,” he said.
“I was at Spurs for more than 14 years and obviously, I grew to have a lot of love for the club, so playing Arsenal – from my youth days all the way up to the first team – was always a big game.”
Onomah was always highly rated at Spurs, but never quite made the grade in the first-team.
The playmaking midfielder made 32 appearances in Tottenham’s first team one the course of five years, before departing for Fulham last summer.

Since moving to Craven Cottage, Onomah has begun to showcase his talents, and they were in full display towards the end of the season.
Onomah was one of Fulham’s star men in the play off campaign, as they made it back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
And Arsenal will have to be on their guard on opening day, as they look to stop an upset from happening.
