The Nigerian is not worried by the prospect of competing with Aguero at the Etihad.
Iheanacho is relishing the opportunity to play with Aguero
Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho claims it is “a dream come true” to play alongside Sergio Aguero, BBC Sport has reported.
Iheanacho has flourished since he burst onto the scene in City’s senior squad, notching 14 times last season, but he is still unsurprisingly behind the Argentine in the pecking order at the Etihad, with the former Atletico Madrid ace already scoring six goals in three competitive appearances.

But the 19-year-old has no problems with his current role in the squad, insisting he is delighted at the chance to learn from the player many have touted as being one of the best strikers in the world.
According to BBC Sportsday, the youngster told reporters: “Sergio is a great striker and I am learning from him. It’s not pressure, it’s a dream come true.

“Pep [Guardiola] has brought his own style. It’s going to look easy on the pitch when you have lots of players to pass to. I haven’t had any private discussions with Pep. He has the final decision on the team and I have to work hard to be in his team.”
The forward, who finished the last campaign as the club’s third-highest goalscorer, has clearly impressed his new boss, and signed a two-year contract extension with the club last week.

Speaking on the back of the new contract, Guardiola gave his backing to the teenager, who looks set to play a big part in City’s assault on the Premier League title.
According to BBC Sport, Guardiola said: “Kelechi is a natural goalscorer. I knew about him before, but I’ve been really impressed with him since I arrived.”
