Arsenal supporters weren’t the only ones praising Bukayo Saka last night because even the West Brom fans were full of praise for the rising star.
Saka helped his Arsenal side record a deserved 4-0 win against Sam Allardyce’s men, as he found the back of the net in the first-half to add his wonderfully-crafted team goal to Kieran Tierney’s sublime opener and Alexandre Lacazette’s brace.
Whilst this season has been a bit of a dampener for those in North London, it could be argued that Saka has been their best player, in actual fact he has!
And during their times of struggles, he has been the main guy to step up to the plate and take Mikel Arteta’s side up that table.
West Brom fans were pretty impressed with what they were seeing with the England international even though they themselves were enduring a miserable night at the Hawthorns.
It’s understandable that the Arsenal supporters are in awe of the talented teenager because he is now their poster boy and that shining light they have been looking for.
Saka has the world at his feet but he will still need his Arsenal teammates to step up to the plate with him because he cannot do the heavy lifting all on his own.
The likes of Lacazette, Emile Smith-Rowe, Pablo Mari and Gabriel Maetinelli are playing their part, but more will still be needed.
