Is Runar Alex Runarsson a good signing for Arsenal?
Arsenal needed to sign a new goalkeeper following the recent departure of Emiliano Martinez to Premier League rivals Aston Villa.
Runarsson was a back-up goalkeeper at Dijon, and, according to Arsenal’s official website, he made 13 appearances for them in all competitions last season.
It is clear that the 25-year-old has been signed to be a back-up for Bernd Leno, who remains the undisputed number one between the posts for manager Mikel Arteta.
Arsenal are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season and need strong competition in all departments.
