Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has praised Aston Villa attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho, currently on loan from Barcelona, as quoted in Leeds Live.
Coutinho, who can also play as a winger, joined Premier League club Villa on loan from Spanish and European giants Barcelona in the January transfer window.
The former Liverpool star is set to start for Villa in the Premier League game against Leeds at Villa Park on Wednesday evening.
Ahead of the game, Leeds head coach Bielsa has spoken highly of Coutinho.
Bielsa told Leeds Live about Coutinho: “He’s a player with prestige whose past speaks for itself. Playing in a PL team like Villa with growth, back in the Brazil team.”

Philippe Coutinho could hurt Leeds United
In our view, Coutinho is a big player for Villa and could really hurt Leeds.
Villa manager Steven Gerrard played with the 29-year-old at Liverpool, and the former Rangers boss will know how to get Coutinho back to his best.
The Brazilian has started his Villa loan spell well.
Coutinho has scored one goal in two Premier League appearances already for the Villans.
Leeds are a good team, but they have injury problems and are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Coutinho is a very creative player, and with Villa doing well at the moment, the Brazilian could play a big role for the Villans against Leeds.
