Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has praised manager Carlo Ancelotti on Twitter despite being told that he has no future at the club.
The former Crystal Palace winger has said that he has spoken to Ancelotti, and has stated that he has a lot of respect for him.
The DR Congo international has hailed the Italian tactician, who has said that “there is no space for” him in his squad, as quoted in The Liverpool Echo and covered by HITC Sport here.
Ancelotti told The Liverpool Echo: “Bolasie is training well, professionally. He’s not part of the squad.
“He can train with us until he finds a club at the end of the market. I have told him we have a big squad and, unfortunately, there is no space for him.”
According to The Times, Everton are trying to offload Bolasie, but the Merseyside outfit are struggling to find clubs to take him.
The winger has been at Everton since 2016, but the 31-year-old has been out on loan at Aston Villa, Anderlecht and Sporting Lisbon in recent years.
Meanwhile, Everton look set to miss out on Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot to Ancelotti’s former club AC Milan.
According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, the full-back will leave for Italy today and will undergo a medical at Milan before joining the Serie A club on a loan deal.
The Mirror reported in August that Everton manager Ancelotti wants to sign Dalot this summer.
