‘Player with great technical ability’ reportedly has an offer from Everton

According to Corriere Dello Sport, Everton are interested in signing Cengiz Under from AS Roma in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported by the Italian publication that the winger has a good offer on the table from Premier League club Everton.

Under has been on the books of Roma since the summer of 2017 when he joined from İstanbul Basaksehir for an initial transfer fee stated on the Italian club’s official website to be worth €13.4 million (£12.35 million).

Monchi was then the sporting director of Roma, and he described Under as “a player with great technical ability” on the club’s official website in July 2017.

Back in 2018-19, the 23-year-old winger scored three goals and provided seven assists in 26 league matches, and scored three goals and provided one assist in six Champions League games, according to WhoScored.
