Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have reportedly received a boost in their quest to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.

Earlier this month, journalist Edu Aguirre said on El Chiringuito TV that Liverpool are interested in signing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.

The reporter claimed that Liverpool have made an offer of €200 million (£173.18 million) for the 24-year-old France international forward, who has “frightening speed”, according to former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor.

And now it seems that Liverpool have received a huge boost in their attempt to bring Mbappe to Anfield.

PSG have left Mbappe out of their pre-season squad that is travelling to Japan.

ESPN have reported that the Ligue 1 champions are considering never playing the forward again.

Mbappe is out of contract at PSG at the end of next season.

The France international forward has already decided that he will not sign a new deal and intends to leave as a free agent next summer.

Liverpool now have a (small) chance of signing Kylian Mbappe

In our opinion, Liverpool now have a chance of signing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.

Yes, Real Madrid are ready to make a move for the forward and have everything in place to get a deal done (ESPN).

But, Liverpool should still fancy their chances of bringing Mbappe to Anfield.

If the Premier League club have already made their bid, then it indicates that they are very determined to sign the world-class forward.

Mbappe is one of the best players in the world and would make Liverpool a force to be reckoned with.

PSG leaving Mbappe out of their pre-season squad suggests that they are ready to sell him now.

And that will be music to the ears of Liverpool.
