The Rangers manager Steven Gerrard recently allowed the player in question to leave Ibrox.

Some Rangers fans and neutrals alike are mocking a player who recently left Ibrox.
Graham Dorrans spent two full seasons at Rangers before having his contract terminated a year early.
The midfielder was quickly snapped up by Scottish Championship side Dundee, but is quoted as telling the BBC that he also held talks with clubs from the English Premier League.
After leaving Rangers, Dorrans was linked with moves to a trio of clubs south of the border, however, all three – Portsmouth, Fleetwood Town and Bolton Wanderers – play their football two divisions down.
And this is the reaction on Twitter so far…
Dorrans previously played Premier League football for Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion and was seen as something of a coup for Rangers, who are reported to have paid a 7-figure fee for his services.
But injury blighted the lifelong Rangers fan’s dream move to Ibrox, restricting him to just 23 appearances in light blue.

At the time of his departure, Dorrans had Ryan Jack, Steven Davis, Glen Kamara, Greg Docherty, Andy King and Matt Polster for company in his position.
