Jude Bellingham actually wants to move to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool before eventually joining Real Madrid, according to a report.

Bild journalist Christian Falk has written in CaughtOffSide that he has heard that Bellingham had actually planned to join Liverpool from Borussia Dortmund.

Falk has reported that the England international midfielder was planning to play for a few years for Liverpool before moving to Spanish and European giants Madrid.

However, according to the German journalist, Liverpool are unable to afford the cost of signing the 19-year-old in the summer transfer window.

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham’s Liverpool plan

Falk wrote: “I heard that Bellingham imagined playing for Liverpool for a few years before making the move to Real Madrid. That was the career plan but Liverpool didn’t have the money for this deal.

“Bellingham has always thought highly of Los Blancos, and the talks with the Spaniards convinced him to move there, dissuading him from moving back to England in the process.

“Those responsible at Real are planning a visit to Dortmund, whilst Mark Bellingham, who manages his son’s career as director of his own company, ‘BelloBall LTD,’ definitely wants to finalise things this summer.”

Disappointing for Liverpool

It seems that Jude Bellingham is on his way to Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

And it will come as a disappointment for Liverpool.

The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners have long been linked with Bellingham, but it is not always easy to get a player before Madrid, arguably the biggest club in the world.

However, Bellingham could still come to Liverpool in the future.

You just never know.

After all, Bellingham is only 19, and who knows what could happen in the future.
