Jonathan Dinzeyi has taken to Twitter to express his delight at joining Arsenal after leaving Tottenham Hotspur.

As announced on Arsenal’s official website this morning, Dinzeyi has moved to the North London outfit on a free transfer.

The 20-year-old was a free agent following his departure from Tottenham earlier this summer and has signed a professional contract with the Gunners.

The defender will link up with the Arsenal Under-23 side and the academy players ahead of the new season.

The youngster developed through the Tottenham academy, but he could not make his debut for the first team.

Dinzeyi has taken to Twitter to express his delight at making the move to Arsenal after leaving bitter North London rivals Tottenham.

One for the future

Dinzeyi is a very talented and promising young player who predominantly plays in central defence.

The youngster is unlikely to make his breakthrough into the Arsenal starting lineup anytime soon, but perhaps in the next two or so years, he could become an important player in head coach Mikel Arteta’s team.

Arteta has given chances of young players such as Bukayo Saka, and if Dinzeyi progresses well, then he will get his chance.
