Former Tottenham Hotspur right-back Serge Aurier wants to move to Nottingham Forest on a free in the summer transfer window, according to The Times.
The Times have reported that Aurier, whose contract at Tottenham was terminated in August 2021, has travelled to Greece to meet with Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis over a transfer to the Reds.
The Ivory Coast international right-back reportedly wants £50,000 per week as salary.
Would former Tottenham right-back Serge Aurier be a good signing for Nottingham Forest?
In our view, former Tottenham Hotspur right-back Serge Aurier would be a good signing for Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window.
Promoted club Forest would get a 29-year-old defender in the prime of his career who has done relatively well in the Premier League and who would be able to make an immediate impact at Forest.

Yes, we know that Aurier can be erratic and can make mistakes defensively, but his wealth of experience and the fact that he is a free agent goes in his favour.
Moreover, the 29-year-old, who become a free agent at the end of last season following his departure from Villarreal, is not asking for a lot of money as salary.
A weekly salary of £50,000 for a Premier League player is not really too much.
