The Athletic have reported this afternoon that Arsenal have decided to simply let Bellerin leave today and move to Barcelona on a free transfer.
The report has claimed that the 27-year-old right-back will take a pay-cut to complete his move to Barcelona.
The Athletic have added that Bellerin, who earns £110,000 per week (Spotrac) as well, ‘has also waived any payments he was owed by Arsenal’.
Desperate to leave
It seems that Hector Bellerin is absolutely desperate to leave Arsenal for his former club Barcelona.
It was Barcelona that the right-back left when he was very young to move to Arsenal.
That the Spaniard is taking a pay-cut and is wavering any payments owed to him from Arsenal suggests that he is desperate to leave.
Bellerin spent last season on loan at Real Betis, and it is clear that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta does not fancy him.
