Tierney joined Premier League outfit Arsenal from Scottish Premiership side Celtic in the summer of 2019.
The 22-year-old left-back has explained his switch from the Hoops to the Gunners.
The Mirror quotes Tierney as saying: “It was obviously a great offer, but I still had sleepless nights thinking, ‘What’s the best thing to do here?’. It went on for ages.
“The first bid came in and I then signed on deadline day. At the same time, I was just coming back from my injury.
“I was like, ‘Don’t even focus on what’s going to happen, just work hard and get fit, everything happens for a reason’.
“Arsenal are a massive, massive club and when I came I realised that.”

Stats
According to WhoScored, Tierney has made four starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season.
The Scotland international also provided two assists in four Europa League games for the North London outfit this campaign, according to WhoScored.
The 22-year-old has had injury concerns at the Gunners, but he will get back to his best next season.
Football in England is suspended at the moment due to the global health crisis, and it remains to be seen if and when the season resumes.
Arsenal are still in the race for a top-four finish in the Premier League table and will hope to clinch a Champions League place for the 2020-21 campaign.
