Jack Harrison has batted away suggestions that Leeds United will definitely be relegated on ESPN.
The presenter jokingly claimed that Don Hutchison had told him that Leeds had ‘no chance’ of staying in the Premier League next term.
However, Harrison, who Victor Orta revelead is about to sign a new loan deal with Leeds on Radio Marca, insists that the Whites have the potential to do some serious damage in the Premier League.
“Anything is possible with Marcelo,” Harrison said. “We have a team that’s dedicated and motivated under the leadership of Marcelo, I think we’re more than capable of staying up.
“We’re hoping we can do the same if not better than Sheffield United next season.”
If Harrison does join Leeds on loan it will be his third temporary move to Elland Road in as many seasons.
The winger has developed a great deal while at the Yorkshire club, and now looks set to play a prominent role next season.
If Leeds do better Sheffield United’s achievement of finishing in ninth spot in their first season back in the top flight their supporters will have reason to celebrate.
Leeds certainly do have a set playing style which could cause some Premier League sides problems, but they may need an injection of quality in the transfer window, if they are to climb to those lofty heights after promotion.
