Willian has taken to Twitter to send a message after training with his Arsenal teammates today.
The Brazil international – who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger – recently joined Arsenal on a free transfer after leaving Premier League and London rivals Chelsea.
The 32-year-old trained with his new Arsenal teammates today for the first time since completing his move, as reported by The London Evening Standard.
The Brazilian has taken to Twitter to express his delight at being back in training, and is looking forward to the new season.
Big expectations from Willian
Willian is one of the best attacking players in the Premier League, and he will be a big player for Arsenal next season and beyond.
Signing the 32-year-old on a free transfer was a coup for the Gunners, who now have a very strong and potent attacking unit.
It remains to be seen if Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta plays Willian as a number 10 or out wide, but it is clear that for the North London club to finish in the top four of the Premier League table, he will have to be on top of his game.
