Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier has told Ouest-France that ‘world-stars’ will sign for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this summer.
Meslier is set to join Leeds on a permanent deal in the coming days, Ouest-France has reported.
And it seems that the young goalkeeper has faith that he won’t be the only permanent arrival at Leeds this summer.
“Great players will come to Leeds to play in the Premier League, world stars,” he said.
“I hope to live great things with this club. First, we’ll try and stay up, but here we’d like to relive the great era of Leeds, and all those epics that stayed in the memory.”
Leeds are planning for life back in the top flight and Meslier’s comments certainly will excite the Elland Road crowd.

Andrea Radrizzani has already intimated that he is prepared to spend in the coming weeks to ensure that Bielsa has the quality available to keep Leeds in the top flight for the foreseeable future.
Meslier’s arrival itself is good news for the Yorkshire club, as he has played a prominent role in helping the Whites back into the Premier League.
Meslier stepped in for Leeds while Iker Casilla was suspended, and the 20-year-old performed admirably under huge pressure.
There are now high hopes for Meslier’s future at Leeds, with the youngster regarded as one of the best young talents in his position in European football.
