Don Hutchison has stated on Twitter that Napoli midfielder Allan would be a good signing for Everton in the summer transfer window.

According to BBC Sport, the Toffees have agreed a £25 million deal with Italian club Napoli for the transfer of Allan.

Well-known football journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that medicals have been schedules and personal terms have been agreed.

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti worked with the 29-year-old central midfielder at Napoli.

Former Everton midfielder Hutchison has given his take on Allan, and he believes that the Brazil international would be a good signing for the Merseyside outfit.

According to WhoScored, Allan made 16 starts and seven substitute appearances in Serie A for Napoli last season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process.

The Brazil international also made five starts and one substitute appearance in the Champions League for the Italian club in 2019-20, according to WhoScored.

During the 2018-19 season, Allan made 28 starts and five substitute appearances in Serie A for Napoli, scoring one goal and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
