Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea are reportedly ready to beat Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to the signing of Moises Caicedo.
According to The Guardian, Chelsea are ready to make another bid for Liverpool target and Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Chelsea are ready to improve on their £100 million offer and make a bid that is more than the £110 million that has been offered by Liverpool.
The Guardian has reported that Caicedo is Chelsea’s “top summer target”, adding that the player himself favours “a move to Stamford Bridge” over a potential transfer to Liverpool.
There has been speculation today that Caicedo is having second thoughts about joining Liverpool despite the Merseyside club having agreed a fee with his club Brighton.
Chelsea should bid more than Liverpool for Moises Caicedo
In our opinion, if Chelsea are really keen on Moises Caicedo and have the money, then they should pay more than what Liverpool are offering for the Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder.
Just get a deal done.
Now.

Yes, paying over £110 million for a player who is only 21 and has not even played 50 matches in the Premier League is too much.
We do not think that Caicedo is worth £110 million, especially when Jude Bellingham did not even cost Real Madrid an initial £100 million.
But, if Liverpool and Chelsea are willing to pay over £100 million for Caicedo, then so be it.
If Caicedo wants to join Chelsea and the Blues have the funds to outbid Liverpool, then they should get a deal done now.
Chelsea, like Liverpool, are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season and perhaps even compete for the title.
