Leeds United winger Helder Costa has taken to Twitter to express his delight at returning to training ahead of the new season.
The West Yorkshire outfit are back in pre-season training, as they prepare for life in the Premier League.
Leeds won automatic promotion from the Championship last season, and it will be the first time since 2004 that they will feature in the top flight of English football.
Costa joined Leeds on a season-long loan deal from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2019, and the move was made permanent in July.
The 26-year-old winger is delighted to be back in pre-season training with his Leeds teammates.
Stepping up
Costa is a very good winger who did relatively well for Leeds in 2019-20, but the Portugal international could have done better.
The 26-year-old needs to step up his game, as the Premier League is going to be very tough, and the players have to be ready.
According to WhoScored, Costa made 33 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds last season, scoring four goals and providing four assists in the process.
