Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are reportedly about to miss out on the signing of Mohammed Kudus to David Moyes’s West Ham United.

Mohamed Kudus has been linked with Arsenal, but it seems that the Ajax star is on his way to London and Premier League rivals West Ham United instead.

The Times has reported that Kudus will undergo a medical at West Ham today.

The Hammers have agreed to pay Dutch club Ajax an initial transfer fee of £35.6 million for the 23-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or winger.

The Times has claimed that Kudus has already agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with West Ham, who will play in the UEFA Europa League this season after winning the UEFA Europa Conference League last campaign.

This will come as a blow for Arsenal, who are also claimed to be interested in Kudus.

The Independent reported this month that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta personally wants Kudus at the club.

The midfielder is reportedly one of the midfielders Arsenal have been looking to sign in the summer transfer window.

But, it seems that Kudus is about to put pen to paper for West Ham instead.

Kudus has scored one goal and given one assist in two Eredivisie matches for Ajax this season.

The 23-year-old made 19 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the league last season.

Kudus scored 11 goals and provided three assists in those matches.
