According to a report in The Daily Star on August 2, Arsenal are interested in signing Zaha from Premier League rivals Palace in the summer transfer window.
It was reported that Gunners manager Mikel Arteta is a fan of the former Manchester United man and is a secret admirer.
The report stated that Palace will accept £50 million for the Ivory Coast international winger this summer.
In a new report published by The Sun, it has been claimed that Palace are now resigned to losing Zaha for £30 million.
Bargain signing for Arsenal?
True, Arsenal do have a very good attacking lineup and Nicolas Pepe is starting to come good, but Zaha would make the Gunners even more potent.
The Palace star is one of the best attack-minded players in the Premier League not to play for a top-six club.
Zaha’s dribbles, eye for goal, ability to create chances for his teammates, and willingness to help out in defence are attributes that would suit Arteta’s Arsenal.
