Leeds United are in Carabao Cup action on Tuesday evening against Crewe Alexandra.

United have had a meteoric rise through the divisions in recent years, but one thing we’re yet to see from the Elland Road outfit is a real cup run.

Marcelo Bielsa has a tendency to rotate his team for games such as these, as shown by Leeds’ somewhat embarrassing 3-0 loss to Crawley Town last season.

With that in mind, we’ve taken on the unenviable task of predicting Leeds’ starting XI for this one.

We expect plenty of changes from the Everton game, and we think there may be a couple of debutants in this XI.

Indeed, we think Kristoffer Klaesson and Cody Drameh will be handed their first senior appearances for Leeds after making the bench at the weekend.

Meanwhile, we also think Adam Forshaw could make his first competitive appearance since September 28th 2019, a staggering 696 days ago.

Aside from those headlines, it’s a rotated XI from Bielsa.

Rodrigo, Tyler Roberts and Helder Costa come back into the XI, while Charlie Cresswell is given a chance at the back.

Leeds will be keen to avoid an upset here, and a mix between youth and experience may be their best bet.
