According to Sky Sports, Liverpool are set to sign Jota from Premier League rivals Wolves.
It has been reported that the Premier League champions are closing in on a £35 million deal to secure the services of the winger, and that the transfer could be completed as early as today.
The 23-year-old has been superb for Wolves over the years, playing a big role in the Wanderers winning promotion from the Championship and then taking them to the Europa League.
While the Portugal international is unlikely to go straight into manager Jurgen Klopp’s first team if he joins this summer, he will be a valuable option in the squad.
Moreover, Jota is still quite young, and the 23-year-old could establish himself as a key figure in the Liverpool team in the coming years.

The Guardian quoted the Portugal international winger as saying in April 2020: “I loved to watch Everton play, especially when they were playing at home.
