Christian Eriksen may be linked with Arsenal, but it seems that the Inter Milan midfielder is still a fan of his Tottenham Hotspur teammates, at least two of them.
According to Corriere dello Sport in November, there could be a swap deal between Arsenal and Inter involving the Denmark international attacking midfielder and Granit Xhaka, as covered by HITC Sport here.
FC Inter News claimed last month that former Tottenham star Eriksen is on the radar of Arsenal as a potential replacement for Mesut Ozil, as covered by HITC Sport here.
The 28-year-old attacking midfielder has ‘liked’ a post on Twitter about Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
Both Kane and Son scored for Spurs in their 2-0 win against Arsenal in the North London derby this past Sunday.
Unlikely Arsenal move?
Inter may be willing to offload Eriksen, but it is hard to see the 28-year-old make the switch to Arsenal.
True, the attacking midfielder would be a good signing for the Gunners and would solve their creativity issues, but given his history and success with Spurs, the player himself may not be willing to cross the North London divide, especially as he left Tottenham for Inter only in January 2020.
