Barry Douglas has taken to Twitter to send a message to Leeds United fans.
Douglas is leaving Leeds this summer, and the former Wolverhampton Wanderers left-back has thanked the Elland Road outfit’s fans.
The Scotland international left-back has also praised Leeds, and has said that he will be watching the Whites as a fan now.
Douglas joined Leeds in the summer of 2018 from Wolves.
The 31-year-old helped Wolves get promoted to the Premier League, but he could not actually get the chance to play in the English top flight with the Wanderers.
The Scotland international did well for Leeds in the Championship, but he had injury problems, and then head coach Marcelo Bielsa decided to use Ezgjan Alioski and Stuart Dallas at left-back despite the two players being wingers by trade.

Douglas spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Blackburn Rovers.
The left-back made 29 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for Rovers this season, providing two assists in the process.
Just like at Wolves, Douglas could not get the chance to play for Leeds in the Premier League.
