Ahmed Elmohamady has praised Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips and Aston Villa central defender Tyrone Mings on Twitter for their performances for England today.
Elmohamady, who is leaving Villa this summer, has said that Leeds star Phillips was the best player for England in their 1-0 win against Croatia in Euro 2020 this afternoon.
The 33-year-old Egypt international has said that Villa star Mings was solid, and thinks that attacking midfielder Jack Grealish needs to play.
Mings was brilliant at the back.
The Villa centre-back showed that he belongs at this level and was solid defensively.
Mings did not try anything flashy and kept things simple at the back.

As for Phillips, you will find it hard to find someone who does not think that he was the best player on the pitch.
The Leeds star provided the assist for Raheem Sterling’s goal.
The Leeds star took one shot which was on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 93.9%, took 44 touches, attempted two dribbles, and made one tackle and one interception.
England were superb against Croatia, and one of the big reasons for that was the displays from Mings and Phillips.
