Thiago Alcantara has said that he is happy at Bayern Munich amid interest from Liverpool, as quoted in The Mirror.

According to Bleacher Report, Liverpool are interested in signing Thiago from German and European giants Bayern in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is pushing the Reds’ board to sign the Spain international central midfielder.

The report has claimed that the German coach ‘wants the quality and drive of Thiago to add fresh competition to his midfield’.

The Mirror has also claimed that Liverpool want to sign the former Barcelona star this summer.

However, Thiago is not giving anything away, and has said that for now, he is focused on Bayern.

The Mirror has quoted Thiago as saying about his future: “I only think about the game against Ukraine. Afterwards, we will see. Bayern is my home and I am happy to be there.”

Good signing for Liverpool?

Thiago is one of the best central midfielders in the world, and Liverpool fans must have been impressed with the role he played in Bayern’s success in the Champions League in 2019-20.

The 29-year-old pulled the strings from the midfield for the German club in the knockout rounds, and he would do the same for Liverpool if he joined the Reds this summer.
