Steven Gerrard’s Rangers predecessor Graeme Murty takes his young Ibrox side south of the border on Tuesday.

A player Stuart McCall once claimed he never should have signed for Rangers could face the Gers’ Colts side on Tuesday – just hours after signing for the Glasgow side’s Scottish Challenge Cup opponents.
Graeme Murty takes his young Rangers down to Solihull Moors for a fourth-round tie whose winners will face Wrexham.
And the Midlands club, who play in the fifth tier of English football, are boosted by the arrival of Gael Bigirimana four-and-a-half years after his ill-fated Rangers spell.
Bigirimana moved to Ibrox on loan from Newcastle United – alongside teammates Remi Streete, Kevin Mbabu, Shane Ferguson and Haris Vuckic – but failed to make a single appearance for Rangers owing to a medical condition.

McCall sympathised with the Burundi midfielder, but told the BBC that his transfer should not have been sanctioned by those running Rangers at the time.
Bigirimana spent the following season back on loan at his former club Coventry City – whom he signed for permanently in 2016 – before spells at Motherwell and Hibernian in Scotland, where he played against Rangers on three occasions.
Solihull confirmed on their website that Bigirimana is eligible to feature against the Rangers Colts.
