Arsenal eased past Bournemouth away from home in the Premier League on Saturday, but one player who could not get on the scoresheet was striker Eddie Nketiah.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal beat Bournemouth 4-0 in the Premier League.

England international winger Bukayo Saka put the Gunners in the lead in the 17th minute.

Norway international attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard doubled the advantage for Arsenal from the penalty spot in the 44th minute.

Germany international Kai Havertz, who joined Arsenal from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, made it 3-0 from the penalty spot on 53 minutes.

And then in the third minute of injury time, Ben White scored the fourth goal for Arsenal.

Eddie Nketiah did not score for Arsenal vs Bournemouth

Eddie Nketiah started the match for Arsenal.

The 24-year-old striker led the line for the Gunners in a 4-3-3 formation.

The £100,000-a-week (Spotrac) striker came off in the 69th minute.

Praise for Eddie Nketiah

Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe was impressed by the display produced by Nketiah.

As you can see below, Smith Rowe has posted a compliment on Nketiah’s Instagram page.

The win against Bournemouth means that Arsenal are now third in the Premier League table.

The Gunners have picked up 17 points from seven matches.

Mikel Arteta’s side are a point behind leaders and defending champions Manchester City.

While Nketiah will be disappointed not to score, the striker will be pleased that Arteta started him.

The striker did play well.

Nketiah worked hard up top, pressed well and won a penalty.

I believe that Nketiah did enough to continue to start for Arsenal.
