Brighton and Hove Albion defender Shane Duffy has dropped a hint on Instagram that he could be on his way to Celtic this summer.
According to The Sun, Celtic are interested in signing Duffy from Premier League club Brighton in the summer transfer window.
The report has credited West Ham United with interest in the 28-year-old central defender as well.
Celtic manager Neil Lennon also told OTB Sports recently that initial talks have taken place regarding the transfer of the former Everton defender.
Duffy has posted a picture on his Instagram story this morning, showing him boarding a flight.
Although the defender has not stated where he is heading, perhaps he is on his way to Celtic to undergo a medical and sign a deal.
Celtic move close?
While it should be made clear that Duffy has not said that he is on his way to Celtic, it does appear that he is set to join the Glasgow giants.
As reported by Glasgow Live, Duffy’s brother Tony has uploaded a Celtic badge on his Instagram story.
The defender himself took to Twitter on Sunday to deny that he is close to joining West Ham.
