Nottingham Forest have beaten Aston Villa and Leeds to the signing of Danilo from Palmeiras.
The Brazilian will sign a contract at the City Ground running until June 2029 after agreeing to team up with Steve Cooper in Nottingham – according to Jorge Nicola.
What’s the story?
Well, Nicola also shared details regarding how much Danilo will earn at the City Ground.
The respected journalist believes the Palmeiras No.28 will earn £128,000-a-month at Nottingham Forest, which equates to a weekly salary of £32,000.
It comes after Calciomercato in Italy claimed that Jesse Marsch wanted to bring Danilo to Leeds, while the Italian news outlet added that Unai Emery also wants the South American at Villa Park.

The 21-year-old made 58 appearances in all competitions for Palmeiras during the 2021/22 campaign as he helped them win the Série A title.
In those outings, Danilo scored seven goals while also providing four assists.
Nottingham Forest have done well to beat Aston Villa & Leeds
In our view, Nottingham Forest have done very well to fend off Aston Villa and Leeds without spending too much.
With a salary of £32,000-a-week, Danilo is actually earning less than the £36,000-a-week Harry Toffolo at the City Ground, while he is nowhere near the highest earner, which is Dean Henderson on £120,000-a-week.
Nicola adds that Nottingham Forest are paying a transfer fee of just €20m (£18m) as well, which is a respectable sum for one of the brightest prospects emerging from South America.
If Danilo does well in the Premier League, that figure will triple in no time – just look at Moises Caicedo of Brighton, who is now valued at £70m after impressively coping with the transition from South America to England.
Be sure to keep an eye out for an official announcement of the deal from Nottingham Forest.
