Harry Kane told Sky Sports, during their live coverage of Tottenham’s win against Arsenal, that their rivals ‘kept the ball well’ last night.
The Spurs striker admitted that his team ‘couldn’t really get out of our half’, but he was equally grateful that their rivals didn’t punish them.
Kane played a part in both goals that were scored in front of 2000 Spurs fans. He fed Heung-Min Son for the opening goal before firing in his own shot on the stroke of half-time.
After the match, Kane shared his thoughts on the game, as he was asked about Arsenal having so much possession of the ball.
“It’s one of them,” said Kane. “I think we could have been better on the ball in the second half. It wasn’t how we wanted to play.
“But sometimes these games turn into a situation where you just have to adapt and that’s what happened today.
“Arsenal played well. They kept the ball well. We couldn’t really get out of our half. But they didn’t create too many clear-cut chances, so it showed our defensive capabilities.”

This was another Jose Mourinho masterclass which has seen Spurs move back to the top of the Premier League table.
Whilst Spurs are on a high, Mikel Arteta will now be feeling the heat at the Emirates Stadium because this is turning into a disastrous start to the campaign.
At the start of the season, securing Champions League football was the aim. But the Gunners are far away from that, at this moment in time.
