Scott Parker has questioned on Amazon Prime whether Jose Mourinho was ‘planning’ on waiting for him in the tunnel before Tottenham’s 1-1 draw against Fulham on Wednesday.

There was a frosty build-up to yesterday’s all-London affair, with Fulham unhappy at the prospect of playing Spurs at 48 hours notice after it was rearranged.

Whilst strong words were said before the match, Tottenham boss Mourinho was seemingly quick to squash any issues from occurring between himself and his former player before the game started.

In his post-match interview, Parker was asked about how Mourinho was making a ‘real point in waiting for him pre-match’ and how there aren’t any ‘hard feelings’ between the two.

“No, I played with Jose and I understand everything,” said Parker. “It is what it is. Everyone tries to stir up things the way they were.

“I don’t know if Jose was planning on that? But, at the end of it, it was game time. I said to you after.

“We had one focus tonight and that was to put a performance in and I am glad we did that.”

At the end of the day, Mourinho’s frustration will lie with his players and their inability to finishes chances.

Heung-Min Son should have put the tie to the bed before Fulham equalised and it’s another two points dropped from Mourinho’s men.

The signs are clear that Spurs won’t win the Premier League title, but they have to ensure that they secure Champions League football at the end of it.
