Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper has signed a new contract with the City Ground club to 2025. So, when does each Premier League manager’s contract expire after his renewal?

Cooper took charge of the Nottinghamshire outfit in September 2021 and led the team to promotion last season. But a poor start to the term on the back of a mammoth spend had raised doubt over his future. Forest spent the fifth most in the top-flight over the summer.

Only Chelsea (£278.4m), Manchester United (£227.4m), West Ham United (£179.2m) and Tottenham Hotspur (£172m) outspent Nottingham Forest (£157.3m) this summer, per Sky Sports. Yet Cooper only oversaw one win and a draw from his side’s opening eight fixtures.

Nottingham Forest’s lack of points in the Premier League so far this season has left them at the bottom of the standings. Cooper’s new-look team has also registered the second-worst defensive record having conceded 21 goals. Only Leicester City have allowed more with 22.

Nonetheless, BBC Sport reported after Leicester beat the Reds 4-0 on Monday that owner Evangelos Marinakis would retain Cooper. Now, the 42-year-old has signed a new contract with Nottingham Forest, extending his tenure at the City Ground until the summer of 2025.

Cooper’s original contract with Nottingham Forest ran until the summer of 2023, per BBC Sport. So, with speculation over the Welsh coach’s future now resolved, when does each Premier League manager’s contract expire? Some tacticians are only tied down until 2023.
