Owen Hargreaves has claimed that Premier League fans will ‘love’ Brendan Aaronson because Leeds United have signed a ‘diamond’ of a player.
The former England midfielder added that Aaronson is ‘very athletic’ and the pick of the bunch when it comes to Jesse Marsch’s transfer incomings at Leeds this summer.
Marco Roca, Tyler Adams, Rasmus Kristensen and Aaronson himself all made their Premier League debuts over the weekend as Leeds came from behind to beat Wolves 2-1 in front of a packed-out Elland Road crowd.

For those Fantasy Football lovers, a player like Aaronson would be a smart pick, especially given that he is only worth 5.5m and has the flair, vision and passing ability to pick up those points.
Leeds need someone to fill the attacking void left by Raphinha, and whilst the American is a different player to Barcelona’s new superstar, he can still provide that magic in the final third.
Nonetheless, Hargreaves likes the player brought in from RB Salzburg and also praised the 21-year-old for how he has started life in Yorkshire, as he told Premier League Productions.
“Technically, he’s a very good player,” said Hargreaves. “He’s very athletic. He can play in multiple positions. But that’s what you want from your midfield players.
“I like some of the signings Leeds have made. Tyler Adams is a really good young player. Marc Roca from Bayern Munich, he’s not bad.
“But Brendan Aaronson, he’s the diamond of that bunch. He’s going to be a fantastic player. Premier League fans are going to love him.”

BIG PRESSURE ON SUMMER SIGNINGS
It’s perhaps a little harsh but there is big pressure on the club’s new signings to settle in and produce the goods as quickly as they can.
If Leeds still had Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips on their books, then they would be provided with that extra time, but there isn’t someone who is now the main figure of this team.
Marsch is re-building the squad and tweaking the playing style that was defensively all over the place when Marcelo Bielsa was in the dugout.
But if players like Aaronson do step up, then as they saw with Raphinha, their reputations will go through the roof and they will become fan favourites in next to no time.
