Matt Doherty has labelled reported Liverpool target, Adama Traore, as ‘unstoppable’ after his latest display for Wolves last night.
Traore is seemingly on the wishlist of Liverpool and Doherty admitted that Wolves are ‘fortunate’ to have a player like him after he helped his team to a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, as quoted by The Mirror.
“He is totally unstoppable when he is in that type of form and we are fortunate to have him,” said Doherty after Wolves kept their Europa League hopes alive.
“I feel bad for Jonny sometimes because he has to mark him in training.”
The Times recently claimed that Wolves want £135 million for their attacker, who has seemingly caught the eye of Liverpool.
Traore has perhaps been one of the most improved players in English football this season, and during Wolves’ win at Selhurst Park yesterday, he registered his ninth assist of the season.
Whilst Traore’s preference is to play on the right-hand side, he can also operate through the middle, and play as a wing-back.
Along with the former Barcelona man adding end product to his game, he has also shown that he can be versatile and has also improved the defensive side of his game.
All in all, he is seemingly impressing those at Liverpool, and if his performances continue the way they are then Wolves will struggle to keep hold of him.
But it does seem as though the European-chasing side will only part ways with him if a big lump of money is put on their table. It then has to be questioned, are Liverpool willing to splash the cash?
