According to the Daily Mail, West Ham striker Diafra Sakho’s future at the club has been thrown into doubt after an alleged row with manager David Moyes.
The reported disagreement was over his lack of starts which he puts down to a £50,000 bonus he is said to receive every time he starts a match. Sakho was left on the bench for their Carabao Cup tie with Arsenal in mid-week.
Moyes quickly denied the rumours in his column in the London Evening Standard, stating his decisions were purely footballing-related.
The Senegalese international hasn’t started as single Premier League game this season, but he’s still had a part to play this term. Sakho’s scored four goals in all competitions, two of them have come in the league.

Sakho most recent came against Stoke City at the weekend, and his impact from the bench has been significant.
Sakho joined West Ham in 2014, then under manager Sam Allardyce. The powerful striker scored 12 goals in his first season, which included a seven match consecutive scoring streak. As well as his physical prowess, he’s proven he can be clinical when given a run in the team.
West Ham could be making a fatal error letting go of someone with his goal-scoring instincts. The club’s other strikers have mostly struggled this season – even Javier Hernandez after returning from injury.

Andre Ayew and Andy Carroll have also had frustrating seasons, so there’s no reason as to why Sakho should be so far down the pecking order.
The Hammers are reportedly in the market for a striker, with the club keen on Danny Ings according to the Sun.
