Tony Pulis may raid his old club West Bromwich Albion if he is appointed Swansea City manager.

After Swansea City sacked manager Paul Clement, former West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis emerged as a leading contender to replace him according to Wales Online.
Pulis may not fit the stereotypical Swansea profile, but he is a specialist in survival, and the club could do worst than to turn to Pulis and his pragmatic style of play.
Pulis has never been relegated and had a fairly successful time at the Baggies until this season.
Here are three of his trusted players from West Brom who he could take to Swansea if he’s appointed:
Hal Robson-Kanu
Welsh striker Hal Robson-Kanu may fancy a move to his home country and, with Swansea in need of more strikers, a move could be a fit. Wilfried Bony and Tammy Abraham have scored just six goals between them this season, and the Swans need more options and goals in attack if they are to have any hopes of staying up.
The 28-year-old, signed by Pulis in 2016, is behind Salomon Rondon and Jay Rodriguez in the Albion pecking order and may feel he needs to move elsewhere to get more playing time.

Craig Dawson
Swansea are pretty light in defence, and it’s an area they lack quality. Federico Fernandez and Alfie Mawson are their regular centre back pairing, while they have Mike Van Der Hoorn and Kyle Bartley in reserve.

None of the quadruple haven’t been convincing this season, so it’s an area they need to strengthen. Craig Dawson is set to return from injury and he’s someone who can bring Premier League experience and a no nonsense approach to Swansea’s back four. The 27-year-old has played 139 games for the Baggies and he also has an eye for goal – netting 10 at the Hawthorns.
Claudio Yacob
Swansea’s midfield signings in the summer haven’t worked out as well as they’d have hoped. Roque Mesa has featured just eight times in the league, while Renato Sanches has been a huge disappointment. Wales Online have linked Mesa with a loan move back to La Liga in January, so the Swans may need midfield re-reinforcements.

They have creative midfielders in Ki Seung-Young and Leroy Fer, so someone like Claudio Yacob can provide a solid base for Swansea to build attacks and protect the back four. He’s been a fans favourite at the Hawthorns since he joined in 2012. Yacob, however, may be the most difficult of the three to prize away.
