Joe Hart could be on the move yet again in the summer and Aston Villa would be wise to consider a move.

Joe Hart has fallen out of favour at West Ham United under David Moyes.

The goalkeeper, on loan from Manchester City, has not featured in the league since November 29 as Moyes continues to select Adrian.

The Spanish stopper came in for Hart against his parent club Manchester City and put in an excellent display which kept him in the team and he has not looked back.

With Moyes clearly not fancying the England international, it is highly unlikely that West Ham will make his loan a permanent one.

That will alert a handful of other clubs and one of those should be Aston Villa. Steve Bruce currently has Sam Johnstone (on loan from Manchester United), Mark Bunn and Jed Steer at his disposal between the sticks.

Johnstone’s loan move is expected to become permanent in the summer according to the Manchester Evening News but beyond him Villa’s options are pretty weak, particularly if they are going to be back in the Premier League next season.

The Villans are fifth in the Championship and just five points off the automatic promotion places. Signing someone of Hart’s calibre would be a real statement of intent from Villa and will prove that they will be hoping to do more than just stay in the Premier League should they go up.

Hart has won five major honours with Manchester City and has 75 England caps to his name. His experience and leadership qualities would be perfect for a promoted squad and he would be a great guide to someone like Johnstone, who would be experiencing his first top flight campaign, so it is a potential move that could be ideal for both parties.
