Sheffield Wednesday’s striker haven’t been firing on all cylinders this term.

Jos Luhukay bagged his first victory as Sheffield Wednesday manager as goals from Marco Matias and Atdhe Nuhiu secured a 2-0 win over Carlisle.
The pair have both been on the fringes for the Owls this season, but were given the chance to impress under their new Dutch boss.
Given the recent form of Wednesday’s other strikers, there could be a place up for grabs in the starting XI and Nuhiu could be the man to claim it.

Gary Hooper is the South Yorkshire club’s top scorer this term with 11 goals in all competitions. Their other two main strikers are Steven Fletcher and Jordan Rhodes. Fletcher has not scored a goal since September, while just two in his last 12 (six overall).
Nuhiu also has two goals in his last 12 outings so, in truth, he has been performing to a similar level as Rhodes with less time on the pitch.

He offers Sheffield Wednesday something different and, at six foot four, is a big physical presence. He is willing to do the un-glamorous work but during his four and a half year stint at Hillsborough, he has popped up with some very important goals.
In potentially keeping his place against Cardiff City this weekend, Luhukay would be indicating that only players who are performing will keep a starting place at Wednesday.
