Moussa Sissoko has been a regular for Tottenham this season and has shown signs of improvement, but this could be all for nothing in the event that Spurs bag Watford striker Richarlison.

Watford winger Richarlison has proved to be one of the bargains of the season and could be on the move once again in January.
The 20-year-old has scored five goals for Watford and the Brazilian’s goals, pace and ability has caught the eye of Tottenham Hotspur who are reportedly eyeing a move for former Fluminense man, report the Daily Mirror.
Tottenham’s attacking midfield options are already impressive with the likes of Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Heung Min-Son at their disposal.
One man who this could really effect is Moussa Sissoko. The Frenchman looked to be on his way out in the summer after a poor first season at the club but Mauricio Pochettino gave him a second chance and so far it’s paid off.

Sissoko has featured in every Premier League game this season, opened his Spurs account and his form has kept him in the side even as players like Moussa Dembele have returned.
Should Richarlison join Spurs in January, it will bring more competition for Sissoko, especially in the advanced positions. Recently though, Sissoko has been deployed in central midfield alongside Harry Winks.

All things considered, that position is where Sissoko has the best chance at Tottenham. He’s a box to box midfielder and a different option to Winks, Dembele and Victor Waynama.
Sissoko was poor against Arsenal last weekend, however, and was subsequently left on the bench for Tottenham’s Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund. He will need to work hard to continue his Spurs revival, and can only hope that he doesn’t also have to contend the arrival of Richarlison from Watford.
