90min have reported that Newcastle’s majority shareholders, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), are exploring a move for Neymar and believe that they could be able to tempt the £606,000-a-week (SalarySport) Brazilian to St. James’ Park.

PSG are willing to sell the former Barcelona forward and are looking for £75 million in transfer fees.

PIF are willing to pay that for Neymar, who Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe described as “unbelievable” during a press conference on Friday.

When fit and on form, Neymar is one of the best attacking players in the world who won the UEFA Champions League with Barcelona and scored goals for fun.

And he is still only 31.
