Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are said to be close to appointing Pedro Caixinha.

Former Glasgow Rangers man Pieter Huistra has admitted in the Glasgow Evening Times that he has never heard of Pedro Caixinha.
Caixinha has been installed as the favourite to take over at Ibrox, with reports suggesting he is very close to taking over from Graeme Murty at Rangers (Glasgow Evening Times).
The Light Blues board have reportedly unanimously agreed that Caixinha should be the next man to take charge of the Glasgow club.
And Huistra claims that he hopes Caixinha has a good tactical knowledge, as that will be crucial.
“I hope for Rangers that Caixinha is like that. He is not a big name. I have never heard of him. But I am sure the club has done its homework,” Huistra said.
“He comes from Portugal and is probably a forward-thinking coach. I hope for the club that he is tactically aware because it is very important in today’s game.”
Caixinha is a surprise target for Rangers, given that his profile is still fairly low.
The 46-year-old’s managerial career has seen him take charge of teams in Portugal, Mexico and Qatar.
Caixinha is not expected to be in charge of Rangers’ next match, which comes against Celtic at the weekend, but his appointment is thought to be set to be announced in the near future.
Rangers are currently in third place in the Scottish Premiership table.
