Piers Morgan has launched another attack on Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
Arsenal fan, journalist and TV anchor Piers Morgan has once again slammed Arsene Wenger, suggesting the Frenchman’s failure to sign a striker will cost the club by the end of the season.
Like most Arsenal fans watching the game against Manchester United last night, Morgan was frustrated and he never holds back with his thoughts on social media site Twitter.
While Tottenham romped to a win at Newcastle and with Liverpool grabbing a late winner at Fulham, Morgan has gone as far to suggest that no striker coming in last month may mean the Gunners don’t finish in the top four.
Much has been made of the fact Olivier Giroud is the most important striker at the club and Wenger will have to bring in another high profile forward this summer to support and develop the attack.
However, Morgan’s message is quite clear, that will be too late and if the Gunners slide down and out of the top four positions, it will affect their chances of signing some of the forwards they have been linked with.
