It is no secret Piers Morgan wants Arsene Wenger to be replaced as Arsenal manager. And one of his choices of replacement is typically misguided.
Piers Morgan’s opinion on Arsenal is like a yo-yo, and the CNN host is pretty embarrassing to true Arsenal fans, no matter how much he may claim to ‘speak for the people.’
Prior to Saturday’s game, he said if Arsenal can beat United, Arsene Wenger would deserve a 1,000 year contract. Even Alan Pardew doesn’t have one that long.
After the defeat, and even during it, he was back to his usual stance, bemoaning Arsene Wenger’s team’s lifeless showing and demanding change.
And to be fair there is a growing number of fellow fans who believe it is time for change at the top, but only if the in-demand Pep Guardiola can be secured, a manager Morgan also called for on Saturday.
But after the Spaniard, his shortlist is looking more than a little thin. Take a look:
We are pretty sure that is the only time former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has been mentioned in the same sentence as Pep Guardiola. David Moyes too.
It seems to us as though Poor Piers is terribly misguided here. Redknapp is a man Arsenal supporters will want nowhere near their club. But let us know if you feel otherwise.
Would you like to see Redknapp as Arsenal manager?!
